Born in Nigeria and raised in Winnipeg, Dr. Daodu is a pediatric surgeon committed to advancing equity in healthcare.

She holds an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Graduate Certificate in Global Surgical Care from UBC. Her research examines how race, geography, and systemic barriers affect surgical outcomes for underserved communities.

She serves as Assistant Dean of the Precision Equity and Social Justice Office at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary,
